Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso insists he’s happy at the club but admits he would ‘one day’ like to return to Spain.
The Spaniard moved to Stamford Bridge in 2016 in a £24million move from Serie A club Fiorentina.

Alonso lifted the Premier League title during his debut campaign at the club and scored six goals from a left wing-back position.
The 26-year-old started his career at Real Madrid put moved to Bolton Wanderers in search of first-team football.

And, although Alonso says he’s happy in west London, he’s admitted he would like to move back to Spain.
‘I’m very happy at Chelsea but I would like to return to Spain one day,’ Alonso told Cadena Ser.
‘Before I retire I’d like to play in La Liga. I haven’t played much there.
‘But i’m very happy in London. All I think about is the game against Crystal Palace.’
